My Case Has Finally Been Approved. I Don't Have A Date Of Oath Yet But It Has Been Approved. I Just Confirmed It! I Was Going To Sue In December But It Was Approved. Oh My Gosh. I Want To Say Thank You To This Board That Has Helped Me. If I Had Not Found This Board I Would Have Probably Been Sitting Around Wondering What Is Going On Without Being Able To Do Anything. Thank You All So Much. I Hope That All Of Yo That Have Been Waiting For So Long Is Able To Find Positive Relief. Thank You All!:):)

I did not wait patiently, i was literally about to loose my mind from this. I spent many hours writing letters after i found this board and realized that i could actually do something. I had even started preparing 1447b case. I was going to wait until December only because i didn't have the money to file before then. I called USCIS several times a week. I cried, i was frustrated. That's why my name is frustrated_alot. I was tired. I don't know how i got out of it, to be honest. Maybe it was the letters or maybe it was an act of God himself. All i know is, i prayed to him for help everday.:)

Thank you, i will definitely help others. I understand too well, the frustration of being in name check blackhole. I am totally in awe that i got out without suing.

I am so glad you see finally the light at the end of the tunnel. I can imagine you are excited and happy and all of these things. It has been a long time coming for you. I am very happy for you !

While reading your post I found that you had mentioned two things. one about name check and other about background check.

My attorney had told me that my background check is cleared on Sep 27th, 2007. Now I have a second FP due on Oct 25, 2007.

Do you think my name check is also cleared or should I be worried about it?

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

My case was stuck in security checks for more than 17 months (I never found out which check was stuck). The Congressman told me that my case was placed in interview since April and said that USCIS would not put my case in queue if security checks were not cleared. I had my second FP done on September 25 and received my interview letter a week after. Since you will have your second FP, you should expect your interview soon after FP.
 
Interview or Oath

You mentioned that you received interview letter after your second FP. Could you please explain is this a second interview similar to the first one where you took the Citizenship test or is it for oath?

I am confused when everyone says that they received interview letter after second FP.

Is your 2nd interview completed? What did they ask you in your 2nd interview?

Hi Friend,

You mentioned that your interview was done in July 2007. Was this about Citizenship test?

My citizenship test was completed on Sep12, 2005 and i have been waiting since for my background check. On September 27, 2007 I was told by my attorney that my background check is cleared and i have a 2nd FP on Oct 25th.

Will there be an interview after this 2nd FP or should I be waiting for my oath letter? Please clarify the confusion of interview and oath that i have been reading on this message boards.
