Hi vaasista,

Could you post your stamping date on your passport, once you recive it. My visa has been approved on 17 July, waiting for printing. Thanks

I called and office is close for today so I might call them tomorrow.

If any of you got your PP back with Stamp and your Applied Date is on/after 22nd Apr '03 then please post your comment or facts.

Recived my passport today morning with stamping.

SL Date: April 9
DC Date: April 29
 
I recd. my stamped PP this morning.

Visa issue date was 23rd July.

Hoped to receive everything this week, alas, nothing yet -- so decided to call DC today - they told me my PP not processed yet.
Asked me to call in a week.

Waiting...

Visa Approved

I just spoke to a lady at DC Visa Office and she told me that my visa is approved and they will be sending it out today.

SL Sent Date: April 21st
DC Recieved Date: May 03

Best Of luck to all who r waiting.

Passport Picked up also

Guys,
Just want to let everybody know that my passport is picked up also by FedEx.

I know that every news of this kind will give confidence to those who r waiting.

Fedex has picked up my passport today, I am assuming that it is the visa stamped passport.

Funny thing is I asked Fedex to change from overnight to 2 day delivery(even if it is overnight I will receive it on Monday), but they want the sender to call them and request them. Though I am paying for that package, I do not have any control on that.
