April 2004, I140/485 Nebraska Concurrent filers

My wife's name was spelled wrong on the recipt, my attorny sent a letter to the USCIS. Will I get a notice saying that her name was corrected.

My lawyer had misspelled my wife's name on H4 renewal. I did not receive a notice for name change, when lawyer sent correction. Lawyer told me that correct name will appear only on approval notice.

Did you receive the notice with correct name already or are you still waiting for the notice.

My lawyer didn't misspell the name, the Immigration officer misspelled the name.

Got the receipt numbers

Finally today i got the receipt numbers from the check images, still need to receive the actual receipts.USCIS website shows they received my applications on June 4th and last update was on June 9th.But we filed the applications on May7th, so i lost 4 weeks .

Thanks hathwar, i am planning to recapture the time spent outside USA.

About 140 reciept number

Hi Guys,
I apllied my 140/485/EAD/AP together and I recieved my reciepts for 485/EAD/AP, but I did not get 140 reciept number. My employer and laywer got 140 reciept number. They are not giving the number to me. I wanna know that is there anyway I can get the number.
And also my quesion is that is the 140 number sequence is before 485.

I can tell you that the numbers are in sequence but are not in a consecutive sequence.

Hey all,
Last week one of my friend received his LC and he is going to apply his
I-140/485. He needs to submit his Resume for I-140. He doesn't have the resume which he used it when he filed his LC neither his employer.
1).Can he update or create the resume based on his LC skill set or he should give exactly the format which he used for LC?
2). Basically he doens't know what period he entred in the resume for the first job when he woked in India 6 years before. Does it matter?

My wife got twp fp notices(with same info on same day) few days back and yesterday usics updated saying they sent fp notices on JUNE 15th. I got two messages like this through email.

How come I haven't received any fp notice?
Mine is I-140/I-485 and I-485 for wife.

I already lost one month priority during filing time. Even though NSC got my filing on April 8th(Fedex receipt shows), they said they received my filing on May 14th.

Hi All,
I applied my 140/485/EAD/AP concorrently and got the notice date of April 16, 2004 for all the applications.

FP done on June 3rd, 2004 and updated on June 9th, 2004.
Waiting for EAD/AP.
Anyone got approved EAD/AP for this date.

It could be that instead of sending FP notices to you and to your wife, they sent both notices in your wifes name. I will suggest you take both the notices when you go for wife's FP and try to get FP for yourself also.Try to explain to them that they may have sent two notices to same person instead of different notices and see if they allow you to FP without the notice.

My 140 number is after both 485 numbers for myself and spouse (derivative). So it does not mean anything. INS can do anything. I found it weird and inquired with some of my friends and a few had the same situation.
