April 2004, I140/485 Nebraska Concurrent filers

I applied for I140 on may 6th in eb2 category for cp option, I got the receipt date of may 7th from my lawyer, i checked the number in INS site, it shows as application received on May 7th 2004.

My lawyer received it on early last week, not sure of the date, I checked my lawyer website, it shows as they received it on May 7th even though they sent my paper on May 6th.
 
mid March 2004 140/485 concurrent filing nebraska

guys

my finger priting which was done mid may has moved from the FBI to the nebraska center. and the online status has been updated. I am now keeping my fingers crossed for the concurrent 140 / 485 adjudication. I think my case is among those cases processed using the fuji ohata ......

Is it good or bad with so many approvals?

Overall it's very good news for everybody here waiting for the approval.

But It's really confusing me now. The speed of approval seems contradicting with the new policy about concurrent case. What I understood is I-140 will not get approved unless I-485 is ready to be adjusted and precondition for that is the clearance of the FP and name check. Do you think all those cases already got FP/Name check cleared?

I think, it could be I140 Consular Processing or non-concurrent processes I140 applications....

We get the correct information if we directly hear from all the approved applicants...

I received FP notice today to do on 06/18 in Boston. I gave Boston Address.

As mentioned My application was filed
mid March 2004 140/485 concurrent filing nebraska

I got my EAD and FP was done mid may.
I am waiting for I 140 / 485 approval

Since my application is being processed as per Fuji ohata memo my I 140 / 485 should be processed around the same time.

Can any one tell me if my assumption is correct. ?? Is there any one else whose case is similar to mine ?

can any one let me know some info.
i had filed concurrently for i-140 and i-485 NSC and my RD is
April-26-2004 , and i got my FP notification on May-24-2004.
i will proceed with FP on June-25-2004.
( is there any way to know if my filing is in the new pilot project )
My H1 is valid till Feb 2005
i intend to travel to India during August for marriage
Can i travel on my H1 after my FP?
and can i bring my spouse on H4 and add her to my GC/i-485 etc.

i received a copy from NCS and as well my attorney also received a notice from INS , and my on line status has changed saying that i need to appear for FP on June 25-2004.
any guess is our processing through Ohata memo ?

When I go to my portfolio at USCIS.gov all my cases have last update date as 05/20/2004, but no change in the status messages.

Even though I was ready to file during April 04, I delayed my filing till the end of April after hearing about new concurrent adjudication memo.

I'll post any updates to my cases.

I had applied for 140/485/EAD/Ap on May 7th. Didn't receive the receipts yet and the checks are also not cashed by the USCIS till now.Is it normal?.My attorney is saying it will take 1 month to get the receipts.

You can apply for the 7th year extension of H1. Wait till you get the extension approval and then you can use your EAD if your extension is denied.
I hope you know that you will be out of status if you use your EAD and I-140 is denied.
