Finally got approval mails on Friday evening for myself and spouse. Our namecheck results were forwarded on March 5.
This forum has been very helpful and provided valueable information many times. Many thanks to Rajiv Khanna for this forum and members of this forum for sharing their experiences which really helped a lot during frustrating moments.
I wish good luck and fast approvals for everyone on this forum.
I also have one question, we got approval notice today in mail on our home address. I have heard that it goes to Attorney's address. Does anybody has heard of this? On notice, it is nowhere written that it is Complimentary copy.

Your name check took a long time.
Regarding the approval notice, I haven't got mine but all the time read on this forum that people receive it at their home address. So should be fine.

I saw some of your posts. A little similar to mine. I have called that emergency # 3 times. The 1st and 3rd times they said my case was still pending for name check. The second time a lady said my name check is already cleared.
Anyway, I got a fax today from my congressman saying the recent inquiry shows my case was approved on Mar.25th. But the online status did not change for a bit. So I called the emergency line to ask about the status, they said my case is still pending. I am really confused now. I hope the congressman is right. assuming my case is indeed approved on Mar.25th, how long do you think it will take to receive the notice letter? How long did it take for yours?

Hi,
I have noticed that information from Emergency line is not always consistent. In my case also till end they were telling that our namecheck was pending. And 3-4 days before approval, one lady did tell us that our cases are approved, but same day another guy on that line told us our name checks are pending. My guess is even after approval they take couple of days for updating online status and sending emails.
If your namechecks are cleared, then Congressman information should be correct... you might be getting your approval soon.
