Got the Approval Letter on 9/9/03

FP: Oct2002
RFE: March 2003 (after calling the INS in Feb - Thanks to sillyman's advice)

Replied to RFE April last week.
Case transferred to local INS in June.
Interview: Aug 2003 - DAO didn't know about AC21 - said they will deny the petition (I changed 3 jobs after filign 485 and the company that filed 485 went out of biz within 2 months of filing)

Lawyer mailed them info on AC21 in Aug
Approved 09/05/03

went through a rollercoaster ride with the INS/BCIS.

Thanks to my Lawyer Got approved finally.

another good example of AC21 with losing job < 180day

BTW, when did you join the second employer? still < 180thday?
 
I think 180 days doesn't matter if the company goes out of business. thats what my attorney said. he says the law is blurry when it comes to defining the 180 days issue so I guess he took advantage of it in my case.
