Well, it looks like, lot of folks from ROW would be eligible for GC based on the 1 year jump of PDs....and looks like some folks from India - who applied 485 in 2005 ( and got stuck in namecheck in 2005) got their namechecks cleared in this past year 06/07...may also be awaiting 485 approval....Let me initiate the thread for the approvals in May 07...

folks receiving approvals can post here...Best of Luck, everybody!

I received Card Production Ordered e-mails on my entire family's I-485s today (at 9:00 p.m. on 5/1, no less). Does that count?

banta4gc,

I expect to see a lot of ROW approvals but not many from India. Dates for India have not moved over the past few month so people who had to be apporved have been approved.

cheers,

saras

Hi All,
I got a call from my company saying they have received 2nd finger print notice for me, but I have not received it yet because of address change.
Today I received this email..
Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

On May 1, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

Does this message means my case is approved? anyone got this message?

bocondo,
Yep, I got the same message when I missed my FP Notice...and I had address change few weeks before...
These days USCIS is not giving much time for fingerprinting...they are sending notices for appointments within 7-10 days...Your lawyer might have received a copy of FP Notice....Better call him and collect the copies of FP Notice and make it to the appointment time....
the online message change usually means that USCIS's mail of FP notice got retunred to USCIS and then they looked up AR11 and resent the document to your new address...In about 5-7 days, you may get your Forwaded FP notice at your new address...

OK, I got the finger print notice from my company and the appointment is for 5/5/07, I am going to make this appointment.
I am still confused on the new message which I am seeing on the web site, I never got any message about fingerprinting and this message is pretty different. I am confused about 2 things, 1. I got this message only for me not for my spouse. 2. It says based on our earlier approval of this case,, but I am not it's time to celebrate:confused:

Yep, I agree this is a weird message....espescially the "earlier approval" line....The funny thing is - if you call TSC - they will tell you "Hey, Congrats - Your I485 got approved" - How dumb of them!!!
I got it everytime...whenever one of my USCIS notices got returned to them!

One other thing, is that you will also see a mass update LUD (Last Update Date) on all your petitions (EAD renewal, AP, 485 etc) - signifying that they have updated your address for all your petitions based on AR11!

We (me & my wife) got our FP notice (code 3) on Saturday scheduled for May 10th. Hoping to be approved soon...

Yes, I also received two emails to that effect yesterday. I'm cautiously optimistic, because there hasn't been any approval for my I-485. My date has been current since end of last year. AOS was filed end of December 06.

BTW, I did not have to use the "POJ trick"; or initiate any FOIPA requests, senatorial or congressional inquiries, or letters to the First Lady since I was pretty close to processing times put out by USCIS. If I hadn't heard anything in a few weeks, I would have resorted to the above methods.

Me too got same emails

OK, I got the finger print notice from my company and the appointment is for 5/5/07, I am going to make this appointment.

I am in the same boat..I too got 2 emails with the same message,"Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed..." I had changed my address recently on (4/19), but they requested FP on 4/18 and send to old address.

On 4/30 I called TSC and requested to send FP to new address and she told that she will put request for me and my wife, but today got these emails just for me not for my wife for some reason.
My question is, is there any thing to worry for these emails any actions needs to be taken? please help.

Thanks in advance.

Good to see someone in same boat:rolleyes: I would suggest you get the FP notice from your company and try to make the appointment and then once again game of wait and watch begins...:D :D

Hey.....did U guys see, they changed the old message,

Current Status: Document OTHER THAN CARD manufactured and mailed.

On May 1, 2007, we mailed the document we manufactured based on our earlier approval of this case, and mailed it to the address on we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

to a new one....

Current Status: Document mailed to applicant.

On XX, 2007 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service.

wow, they got rid of the line "on our earlier approval of the case" - which was so misleading....THANK GOD....USCIS finally got this message corrected!

THIS MESSAGE USUALLY USED TO COME WHEN FP NOTICE / ADDRESS CHANGE NOTICE GOT RETURNED TO USCIS AND RESENT TO NEW ADDRESS (AND REGISTERED AN LUD ON ALL PENDING PETIONS (EAD/AP ETC))

OK, two more emails today with a new status : "Approval notice sent." I'm starting to think it's for real :)

could you post your case details please....

My case is EB3 (entry level). Here are the details:
PD 07/22/2002, labor filed with RIR
long wait
07/21/2005 labor certified
09/13/2005 I-140 filed
03/29/2006 I-140 approved
retrogression struck
H1 7th year extension happened about here
12/28/2006 I-485 filed
02/24/2007 did the fingerprints
04/25/2007 for whatever reason I-140 (not I-485) case status changed to "This case has been sent for a standard interview.". Also the note said case transfered to LINCOLN, NE to conduct the "interview". I don't know what this is about. I never received anything, neither did the lawyer.
05/01/2007 I-485 status changed to "Card production ordered"
05/03/2007 I-485 status changed to "Approval notice sent"
05/05/2007 I received the notice
