Approvals from September 1 2007 onwards - Pls. post here

anyone analyzing a trend here?

From the looks of it...

NSC is trying to clear up ROW - 2004 cases
and for India looks like PD 2002 cases and early 2003 cases (even those filed in Jun 07) are getrting approved

any thots gurus?

Only certain EB2 cases for India are being approved but not for EB3

also today we received approval notices in the regular mail box and I am very happy and waiting for GC card.
is it same between welcome notice or approval notice

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On September 13, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Can anyone please tell me how long will it take for me to get the Green Card in hand? Will I get another mail when the actual card is mailed to me?

I am planning to travel, and I want to have the GC in hand before I leave.

OMG! I'm finally approved!

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On September 13, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.
