approval of ead

Just to let you guys know that my ead receipt date 12/08/2003
was approved today.march 1,2004 it say they will order new card
and mail to me asap.
Can you tell me what is the next step when the card is receive?This is my first ead.

Hoping my aos will not take 2years to approve.
 
You will receive the EAD card mailed to your home address in 8-10 days.

**Dont use EAD card if I-140 is still pending and maintain H1 status till your I-140 gets approved. If you use EAD you will not be on H1 status and will not be able to extend H1in future

Thanks for the reply.My i140 have already approved.After i receive my card,do i still need to go to social security office to get ssn?

--If you were working on H1 you already have SSN
---If you were on H4 then go to nearest Social security office, show your passport and EAD card and apply for SSN
