Cala,

I sent an response to RFE, and UCSIS updated it 1 day after they received the RFE (saying RFE response received and processing will continue)

07/10/2007 -- I485 Approved

Also there was an LUD on my approved I140 on 24-Jun.
Writing to First Lady helped in clearing the name check.
 
Got card production ordered mail

I got the mail y'day (July 10th) that they ordered the card production on July 9th. Any idea how long it takes to receive the I-485 approval notice and the actual card?

Before you congratulate me, i shall tell you that this is a disaster for me as i couldn't file for my wife's AOS. Please see my other post

You don't want to get congratulated, but-- Congrats!! Cause, I think you are missing something here (well, I am not a lawyer, but I think this is how it goes):
- Since you were married before you got your GC, you could have filed for amendemnt of your 485. I don't know why you had to wait for the Priority date for her????

- Although you got your GC, you still can do the amendment, you still don't need to wait for current PD. I know a friend who is in exact same situation as you and his wife got GC in 6 months for they filed for amendment and he already had his GC when they filed for his wife (Ofcourse he was married before he got his GC).

We got e-mails welcoming new premanent residents yesterday and cards ordered today. I think many of you in the same situation will get your GC's in the next few months. Its been a long and frustrating process but ended finally while we are on vacation in India. Best to all

Congratulations!!! on your approval. Can you please specify the exact date when your case was transferred to NSC and also EB category?

my guess is that they have end date sometime in 2006 and they pull
files from that based ascending PD.. some people getting through by luck too...but as you said luck is a major factor , which unfortunatly on not our side so far I guess....I hope the tide will turn

congrats njreddy, kk1980 & gcindia. Hopefully, they've started opening up the box containing files transfered in march '07. Let me keep my fingers crossed.
Meanwhile, i'm trying hard to get to a IO in Nebraska but i'm not able to get out of this automated stuff. Could anyone help me please? Thanks..
 
I never got to the IO myself. I have tried several options of the POJ trick I found on this forum. May be they fixed the system

Got Approved

Me and my wife both got approved on July 10. Our rd was april 2005. The case was xferred from NSC to CSC in March
 
Am I missing something here??? TSC is approving 2005 cases and NSC is so screwed up? Here is an example posted on TSC forum: PD of 2005, RD of 2005 and already approved! and that too Eb2 India....
