hi,

I came to the US in May 2009, on a b1/b2 visa and overstayed.
However since then i have got married and have a Greencard.
Also i have a good job now.
I would like to get my parents to visit the US, now that i can afford to pay for their visit.

Will my previous overstay cause and issue for my parents getting a visitor visa.
Also will it help to apply for both of them together
or should i just try to apply for my mom this year and then next year for my dad.

will it help if they sponsor their visit themselves( they dont have much cash reserves, but own property and depend on my brother in India for financial resources)

or will it help that I send them the affidavit of support.

anyone have any experience with similar situation

YOU need to keep your nose out of their business UNLESS you want to sabotage their chances of getting B visas.

Firstly, they will apply for their visas, not you!!!
Secondly, visit visas are self-sponsored!!!

Also will it help to apply for both of them together
