Applying for Citizenship question

A friend of mine wants to apply fir citizenship. He got his PR card says May 2013. So does he apply next year or 2018?
 
If he has read the guide to naturalisation, you wouldn't have to ask this VERY BASIC QUESTION for him. Can you guess what comes 5 years after May 2013?
