Applied I-485 in Oct, 2003 till now no FP notice

Hi,
I have applied I-140 and I-485 concurrently on Oct-2003. My I-140 got approved in June-2004, but I still didn't receive the FP notice, is this normal or I have to do something ?

My Company in in NJ, and I'm working in San Jose for my entire period of stay in US. Is this taking time because my case is filed in Vermont and I'm staying in California?

Do I need to call INS for this?

Please advice me.

I'm in the same boat as are many others. The latest indications are that the VSC is starting to send out FP requests for July 2003 filers (after having stopped at June 2003 for several months). Hard to extrapolate this but it seems possible that October 2003 FPs could go out in 1-4 months or so.

As far as I know, your change of location shouldn't affect if/when the VSC asks for FP (unless your case is transferred to CA but I believe that I-485 cases tend to be adjucated where they were initially filed in general).

Hi,
I filed EAD and AP online. During my visit to ASC in Brooklyn to give biometrics, I requested the Immigration officer to take my FP1 as I filed my I 485 a year back. And they agreed and took FP1 for myself and spouse.

Try visiting the ASC center near to you.

Again no LUD update on my I485

I am also in the same position with ND in 10/2003.
Why did u go to ASC to give biometrics (is it the same as FP?)

Can I go to any ASC?

I live in North Jersey. I believe my center should be Newark, NJ

Guys,

You are not alone. Many like you and even with ND earlier than yours are still waiting. My ND is July 2003 but no FP yet
