Applied Green Card for my Mother in May, concurrent filing along with I-131

Hello,

I am looking for some suggestions/answers here... I applied green card for my mother in May 15th , 2022. finished Bio metrics in June. No update so far. she need to travel now for my father first death anniversary in Dec last week. I did call USCIS and asked for expedition request , some recorder took the info on the reason etc but no update still.

Can she travel while this I-131 is in processing?
can I apply for emergency advance parole? Is this reason along with medical check ups will be good or not?

If she leaves the US without an approved I-131, your mother's AOS application will be considered abandoned and subsequently denied. Yes, you may try put in an expedite request for the I-131 since it is free to apply, however there's no guarantee it will be approved.
 
I called and requested for expedition . it is a recorder taking the info , no person talking on the USCIS side. I did this like Nov 1st week, still nothing I heard on I-131. How else I can apply for expediation of I-131?
