I hope someone can advise if they have been through the same plight I am going through now.
My I140 was denied and my lawyer has filed an appeal and this case is now under consideration. In the mean time, my lawyer has applied and got an approval to extend my expired L1 (L2 for my wife). We have sent our passport per the instructions in the letter on Feb 2nd 2004. Until now I still have not received my passport stamped with the new L1 visa. And I am getting worried coz I checked the tracking number for my return paid envelope and the status indicate there is no such record number.
Has anyone been through this stage? If so how long does the Washington DC immigration take to process approved L1/L2 extension and return tbe passport?
