AP Renew Questions / Please Help

Hi there,

I would like to renew AP by myself. Please help to verify the follows

1. Fee is $165.00 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security?
2. What should I fill in Part 1., question 3 Class of Admission?
3. Part 2. Application type, d is correct?
4. Part 3. 1. Date of Intende Departure, what is the proper answer?
5. Part 3. 2. Expected Length of Trip, what is the right answer?

I am using form 131 Rev 04/16/04. Thanks in advance.

2. What should I fill in Part 1., question 3 Class of Admission?

----- How was your last entry? if you entred on H1 then write H1 if entred on H4 write H4 also write on the cover letter that there is no instruction for CLASS OF ADMISSION on the I-131 form and your I-485 EAC or LIN or WAS#.... is pending and you last entred US on H1 or H4 status ( it will clear for them)
3. Part 2. Application type, d is correct?
---I dont have I-131 Form before me
4. Part 3. 1. Date of Intende Departure, what is the proper answer?
-----write any date after 1 month they dont care
5. Part 3. 2. Expected Length of Trip, what is the right answer?
--- write any days or months or 5 weeks they dont care, they dont care for the reason for AP it can be for vacations, meeting spouse or old parents

6 2 photographs and write your name, DOB and A# backside of photographs with pencil
7 Color copy of your Driving licence(state ID) AND color copy of your first page of Passport that has your Name, DOB, Photograph on it

I am using form 131 Rev 04/16/04. Thanks in advance.


*** Out side the envelope write in Big bold letters FORM: I-131 for Advance Parole

Thanks for the reply. Does any body know where to send the AP application?

I have looked USCIS's web page, it defines many mail addresses PO Box and Post code for different application but could not find one for I-131. thanks.

------ you are correct they have not provided P.O box for I-31 what you can do it sent to below address and write out side of the envelope in big bold letters FORM: I-31 for advance parole

** if you have the past AP or past AP filing reciept with you check that reciept it has the correct address on it lower part
