AP question. H4 expiring. AP expiring

My wife's AP expires in May 2003. Her H4 expires in July 2003. I got my GC and she is waiting for hers to be approved. If she renews her AP can she travel to India? What are the complications if your H4 expires on July 31 and you are coming back in August from India? Any body in the same situation before?

Any advice or experience shared will be appreciated.
 
If you have already obtained GC, your wife is NO longer in H4 status! She cannot use her H4 to travel.

However, she can obtain a new AP and then travel w/o any problem.
