Ap problem VSC

VSC is processing the cases for AP that were received on or before 09/15/03(just checked the VSC processing times) My I-131 was received on September 8 by VSC till date fees has not been collected and no receipt notice received. What should I do now?
 
anyone with Aug 2003 RD got AP approval ?

I have a RD of Aug 5th I haven't heard anything about the decision. Please post if anyone with Aug 2003 RD has got approval.

Looks like they have a hold on adjudicating AP applications received on or after August 1st 2003.

My RD -08/01/2003 , not heard anything from VSC yet . I have seen some folks on this forum got approved with RD -07/31/2003 in 45 days

A lot of people with Aug RDs for AP have been approved including myself.
Mine was a new case with a RD of 19thAug and was approved on 18th Sept 03.

His Receipt date is 19 august and we don’t know when he sent the application to VSC it may be sent earlier.

From my employer office one of the employee sent on 9th and was received on 10 august by VSC his check is not cashed and no receipt notice.

I dont know why my application is taking longer than other folks

May be the IIO is on vacation :( ..

I just spoke to BCIS customer service and created an enquiry by giving my details ... Lets wait and see...

rakesh_rawat : Be in touch, we are just 4 days apart and may be our applications were given to same IIO
 
My check is cashed today for AP but the online status shows that they received my application on 22 September my FedEx tracking shows it was delivered to VSC on 8 September, I sent on 6 August. I hpe they never toched the envelope till 22 second

Pls keep me posted regarding your inquiry status for AP. I'll let you know if I hear anything from them. The problem is I have to travel next month. I'm not sure what else I can do.

I think you may get an AP from local office if you need a definite travel to outside US , you can show local office that you have pending AP application ( > 30 Days )at VSC

But not really sure on what ground they will give you ..

experts in the Forum , advise appreciated ..
 
AP approved

Hi kvpt_mm:

I just checked the status of my case and it was approved on 26th Sept. So the details are:

AP RD 8/5/03
Approval Date 9/26/03

Now will have to wait for that in mail. They say that you should receive it within 14 days. Does anyone know how much time it typically takes ?

Mine is still pending (i just checked online)

I think you usually receive it in post by 7-10 business days

R.D. for AP : 12th Aug

Still waiting for the approval. Will be travelling to India on 20th Dec. Guess it should get approved before that!

Today I got the Receipt for my AP from VSC and it says
Receipt Date 8 September
ND 22 September
And it says that they may take 30 to 60 days from this receipt.


It means they never opened the AP papers till 22 September and I have to wait 60 days from September 22 NOT from receipt date of 8 September
