This is my second AP, aftre 171 days, it got approval today. both phone and online system got updated.

It is such a frustrated process. I may start renew my third AP now.

Sent on 03/12 at TSC (Non-Concurrent Case).

AP - Got RFE

RD 02/18 ND 02/20 Non-Concurrent TSC
After 6 months, received RFE.

RFE:
Reason: To provide I-140 approval copy
Raised on: 08/21/03
Mailed by TSC on: 08/22/03
Received by me on: 08/23/03
Response sent on: 08/25/03.

TSC could get my info from my I-485 receipt which filed in 06/2001. I think they are getting confused with concurrent filers.
But by looking at I-485 receipt with 2001 year and checking in their system, they could find the information and there is no need to send RFE for I-140 approval copy.

The funny thing is the Online and AVM are saying that they have received the application on 02/20/03, and it didn't update that they have sent RFE. That is TSC.....

venkat just keep your fingers crossed..who knows may be this is a blessing in disguise for you. Hopefully this RFE triggers your 485 approval. Lets wait and see !!
 
Hi, I plan to apply for AP by myself. what documents do I need, in addition to the application form and I-485 receipt? Do I need 2 photos? DO I send them a copy of I-94, passport, etc?

On the form, they need applicant to specify the reason that warrants an AP? what should I say? just saying that I need to visit my parents is enough?
