AP for my wife and OPT

My wife is currently on F1 and her 485 is pending. She has applied for her OPT (which is pending as well). She needs to travel to India. We are planning to apply for an Advance Parole for the impending travel. Will the AP application effect the outcome of her OPT application in any way?

With pending 485 the OPT will likely be denied. Why don't you apply for EAD/AP based on the pending 485?
 
Thanks. This is actually a follow-up query for my original post. As I noted, my wife's OPT application through her F1 is pending. We now think it is prudent to apply for an EAD through her 485. Will it be a problem if both OPT (through F1) and EAD (through 485) are approved?
