AP approved and changed employer

My situation is, I have approved AP till Dec2009 (GC sponsorer) and now I am changing the employer. My new employer wants me to travel outside of US for a business trip ASAP. Do I need to apply a new AP for new employer and need the approval before leaving US or I can use the previous (GC sponsored) one? Please help.

AP has nothing to do with your employer. As long as you have a properly pending I-485, that is the basis for obtaining an AP document. There is no such thing as "apply a new AP for new employer".

No, use it for travel for old or new employer, for your pleasure. AP is not an employer specific.
