AP Approval dates

AP approved yesterday

Notice date: Early Jan, 2004
Online message chenged to be approved.
Will the approve notice be mailed to me directly or the lawyer?

This is my second Advance Parole.(with one EAP in-between)
 
got my approval notice today. valid for 1 year. it is valid from the day it was approved to 1 year later. it does not take into account your old ap expiry date. by the way i got the approval notice though it was filed by my lawyer
 
both my APs came to me.....

though my lawyer applied for my AP, both times, the approvals came to me in the mail.

it looks like there is no rule here.

Spouse AP (RD - Jan 12, 2004), approved on March 1, 2004.
 
AP approved on 27Feb but not received yet

AP was approved on 27Feb per online message but I have not received by mail yet.

Interestingly my EAD was approved on 25Feb and I recieved the card on 28 Feb.

Why the delay for AP?
 
Mailing address for I-131?

Does anyone know the mailing address for I-131? I couldn't find the P.O. Box on the USCIS web site. Just called the NSC, the guy who answered my phone asked me to sent it to P.O. Box 10485. Is this correct?

Expedite processing of advance parole

Guys,
I just wanted to share this information. This is basically for those who are looking to apply for advance parole for some emergency.
Recently, I applied for emergency advance parole because my mother is sick in India. In two weeks of applying, I not only got receipt but Advance parole also in the mail. I applied at Vermont service center. These are the documents I sent:
1. Letter to the consulate stating the reason with three references, of which two references were of doctors treating my mother.
2. Application form for advance parole (I-131)
3. Two photographs
4. Check for $110/
5. Report from Doctor
6. I knew one doctor in US who saw my mother's report. Isent his visiting card.
7. Copy of I-485 (Adjustment of Status)
8. Copy of EAD
9. Copy of Driving License
10. Letter of Invitation from my Father
 
Rec'd AP by mail for spouse
RD 1/20/04
Approve per online msg on 3/2/04
Rec'd AP from mail on 3/12/04

It looks like it takes couple of weeks after online msg approval to receive actual AP

Good luck guys.

AP Processing Date

Does anyone recently received AP through Nebraska SC? I applied it last month and USCIS said that it will take 480-500 days to process it. Mine is expiring soon this June

500 days to process AP, which an applicant might need
tomorrow to travel. This shows how immigrant friendly
our "fratelli bianco" are. Hats off to all the illegal immigrants
who can keep their heads high and dont have to request
any moron to approve their application.
