1. I applied (via mail) for a new AP (old one expires on May 7, 2004) at the District Office (unknowingly) instead of at the Service Center.
2. I received a notice of receipt from them this week and the check has been deposited as well.
3. My 485 is pending at the Service Center (not at the District office).
4. Am wondering what is going to happen to my AP application now since it is required that all AP applications should be mailed to the Service Center where the 485 is pending.
5. Just to be sure, I also mailed out another application to the Service Center last week.
Does anyone have any success with applying directly to the district office?
Does the receipt of notice and acceptance of fee signify anything?
Or Will they review it and send out a letter asking me to apply to the Service Center?
I would appreciate any info on this.
Thanks
