I was wondering if i could have some expert opinion on my situation. My father petitioned for me as unmarried son when he was a permanent resident. My priority date is 9/1999. The petition has been approved. He recently naturalized and became a US citizen. How do I upgrade my petition to F-1.
Also, I'm a physician doing J-1 waiver in underserved area. I'm in my second year. When I upgrade my petition to F-1, my priority date will be current. I was wondering if I could apply for AOS during my J-1 waiver.
