I had been the silent watcher in the forum. This is a great portal to have the information of black box(uscis) searching for the switch(green card) in the dark.
My case is approved yesterday and want to let you know that there is a ray of light which leads to the path in coming days. So please patient for the folks who are waiting to find the switch.
I would like to share my experience to get the approval:
1. Initiated a service ticket to expedite on June 1
2. Got reply from USCIS on June 6 stating about the case is in background check, blah blah
3. Got worried and took a info pass appointment on June 13
4. Went to infopass on june 13 and spoke to IO and showed the letter from USCIS she was confused looking on the letter and verifying in the system. She mentioned in the system it is reflected as Under review(means working on case). Since she was nice, she took the photo copy of the notice and called up USCIS to discuss on my case details, the nebraska officer confirmed that info on notice is wrong and mentioned my case is under review and all set to go for month of July(She mentioned they are releasing 20000 numbers). Lucky me I got the approval in month of June.

APPROVED - 21 JUNE 2007.
