Anyone applied for EAD recently @NSC?

Both our first EADs were expiring on 01/07/03. We were not worried too much as we never used our EADs and still maintaining our H statuses.

I don't think there is a separate mailing address. If there is, it should say it on the ead application document.
I think it's better to request a return receipt. In that way, you can be confirmed that your application was received.

We have applied for EAD,AP and no apporval yet.

EAD first time for me and second time for my wife.
One of my fried applied in the month of december and got approvals. he told me that if I485 file is with the officer they don't give EAD,AP aprovals as actual case can be appoved durning that time.
Is this correct, does any one has any idea on this.

Did your lawyer get any info from INS? Sometimes INS mails all info to the lawyer who filed the case.
Has the check been cashed?
Its almost 2 months. You need to call INS and get some status.
If you dont have the case number you could use your A# to get info on all cases filed for you.
Give it a try.

I filed I485 Jan. 2002. But this is my first EAD after my I485 filed last year. hope this helps.

My attorney says that they have not received any intimation whatsoever. I should ask them about the checks being cashed. I do not have an A# yet. I think an A# is assigned alongwith the 485 receipt notice.
Several threads have told me that it is unusual not to get a receipt No after two months but my attorney (very highly paid I can assure you) assures me that this is normal because of the holidays.
I am slowly getting to a point of frustration. There is nothing that we can do however.

If your attorney is comfortable with that and feels it is not out of the ordinary, then that is what matters.
NSC is very strange animal. They dont obey any laws(not even mathematical or statistical or laws of gravity!)
Cheer up, we all will get thru this pretty sooner than we think!!
