Anybody help I485 issue ...Please help Laid off > 180 days from rd

Hi I got laid off after 180 Days of I485 filing (I have completed FP also). I Asked my lawyer about AC21,He says he has not seen any case approving using this law(AC21) and if i join new company I need to file I140 again ?? Is it true? I am getting a new offer soon but it will take few days.What should i do?? Also I got Interim EAD for my wife but it is valid for 3 months and actual petition for EAD need more info(RFE)... what should I do...Please help...

Change your lawyer...

And join this yahoo group (do it after yahoo groups come back up)

 where you will find folks who had got their approval using AC21. You do not have to file I140 again. Download G28 forms and change your lawyer immediately. Find a lawyer who has some experience in cases using AC21.
Answer to the RFE. What is the RFE about? After answering and if EAD is still pending you can get another Interim EAD. Maybe you can go with the RFE responses to the INS office where you got the interim EAD and settle the matter. Moreover if your spouse\'s ead is valid for 3 months, (out of possible 240 days of interim ead) may be it is time to apply for EAD renewal.
