Anybody got H1 Ext/New from Texas Center recently?

H1b Extension

Hi,

My reciept date for H1b extension is Aug 26 2002. It has not been approved yet. Did anyone apply on or around the same date and what is the update on your application.

Any information is appreciated.

Don't worry :)

Don't worry people... My H1B was submitted July 30, it got approved Jan 9 per AVM. Haven't received the approval notice yet. So INS is totally backed up. (Some people who applied in mid-August have been approved too, so its somewhat random too).

Sorry for updating late. My company received 7 days after it is being approved. Don't worry you will get it in any time.
 
My RD is 01/07/03, after that expediated to Prem. Processing on 01/23/03. I'm waiting for approval. I think I have 1 more week to check my luck, otherwise I'm scrwed up and they will put this in regular case stack.

Did anybody got rejected for the premium processing..? Replies will be appriciated.

Approval for recieved date in August 2002

Hi,

My lawyer enquired with INS about the status of my H1 ( reciept date: Aug 26, 2002) and was told that they are currently working on cases recieved during the week of Aug 26, 2002.

I noticed that a few people ( with reciept date : Aug 26 2002) have been approved in the last one week. I still am in the dark.

If you got your approval after applying in the same week as above then please update the forum.

As long as you have receipt number of your I797, you can work. There is no problem. Only glitch is, you can not go out of the country.
 
My company has submitted my H1 extension on Nov 28 2002and
i recieved acknowledge in December first week and my case was approved by December 26th from texas service centre. By the way mine was applied regularly not in premium processing... So i felt i was lucky...

Please update any one whose got approval. My RD Sep 4, 2002. I have not heard anything so far from INS.
 
Any new approvals ? Freeze at TSC?

My RD is Sept 10 th still waiting. been over 5 months.
Can everyone post their timelines please? Keep this forum moving
