And me too. PD 1/98 EB2, ND 8/10/99, FP 7/11/00.The most troubling thing is I called INS 3 times in last 2 months and they said everything is OK, you just I have to wait. No RFE. I have not changed jobs. My company name did not change. In other words my case is as straight forward as it can be. Still nothing.
How much more do you people think we should wait before we contact a congress-person/senator?

Maybe you should ask your lawyer to send another letter to the INS enclosing a copies of the RFE & the I-140 (redo) approval and remind them tht the I-140 redo has been approved. I know of atleast one instance where that has done the trick....

I am checking every day - No good. I also talked twice to IIOs over the past 2 weeks. They just don\'t know what is happening and generally don\'t care or take the effort to understand the reality behind the case or the reason why you are calling (the case has been pending for well over 540 days, etc. etc.)....

Another early august, still waiting. Called this this week and spoke to an IIO (who was an AH) and he said INS has five more months to approve my application. In December I received an RFE for employment and was replied on Jan. first week. After that the message changed to
\'...however, ... your application will be approved in 180 days...). But when I spoke another idiot up in St. Albans, he said he is expecting me to get approval any time. I don\'t of any reason why somebody whos PD and ND, both almost 2-3 months after mine get approval and mine will take another five months. Maybe those AHs will
stop using their butt so much and get off their (or his/her) ass and do the job. So pissed off at this whole process.

I wanted to share something with the group. Whenever (that\'s everyday) I check the status of my case, I also check EAC # of 2 more cases (which I found after radomly dialing, both same ND as mine). Till yesterday both the cases had the standard message (Your I485 was recieved.......).
But yesterday both cases the message changed to "This case has been approved...). But the message also says that the case was approved on Dec 22, 2000 (for both of them), which is kind of wierd. Any input?
