Does any one know a link in this forum or else where I can find step by step guide to apply for my father, I have applied for my wife using the K3 step by step guide,,, but I don't think that apply to my father case,

Any help will be appreciated

Thanks in advance for the input

Shortly after the I-130 is approved and paperwork gets sent to NVC, you will receive a letter requesting the $70 Affidavit of Support fee. Once you pay this, you will receive the forms and have to complete those before the case will proceed. Parallel with that, the beneficiary (you parent) receives a form to nominate an agent or lawyer to handle the consular paperwork.

Of course, all of the above assumes your parent is out of the country and will be going through consular processing. If they are in the US when you apply, you can send I-130/I-485 at the same time.

Hi:

Follow your own advice in your disclaimer.

Hi:

Follow your own advice in your disclaimer.

are you trying to be cute, I am just asking a question, and about the disclaimer.. this was when I was in the citizenship process, moreover the disclaimer did not pan any one from asking questions, all I said is don't take the advice that I may give as a legal advice

If you have something good to say, go head, if you don't, then keep it for your self.

Thanks

No need to act like a 6th grader bullying people. Easy to type something huh? what about saying it to his face?...

Anyways. I think he meant the "do your homework" part. Research first and if you still got questions, ask. But you are not going to get many responses with a cocky actitude.

Hi:

I see you removed the disclaimer. Yes, as another posted out, your disclaimer was VERY RELEVANT. Why do you need someone to find you a step-by-step guide. The search function on this forum and Google are your friends.

interesting, I thought I explained my self above, I put that disclaimer when I was in the citizenship forums, now that I am in different forum, and some of you think it's cocky statement, I removed it, because I am not going to give answers anyway, still I need to learn about the family visa.

and about searching in this forum, I have done that, and the best step by step one I found was the following

http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=202993&highlight=wife+mom

And I think it was confusing to me, it's more like listing all the forms I need to fill, beside it's being a bit old 2005, so I thought there is another thread that everybody aware of, and was hoping that someone will pass it, I didn't ask you to search for me, if you have it you going to post it , if you don't then you don't have to look for it for me.

and for the person who said 6years old, please read my post, I don't believe I cross any line

Thanks to all

I thought your response to "Pianoplayer" was cocky, not your disclaimer.

and I said a 6th grader... not 6 years old.

But anyways, it is all behind us now.

Hi:

I feel kind today, and so I have a suggestion. First, for information like this, always start on the official websites, such as uscis.gov or state.gov - ultimately these are the people who will be handling your petition. Then, if you can't find what you need there, consult secondary sources, such as the search function on here. Then, and only then, after having done some good research, ask a question. You will find people a lot more receptive to helping you. It also helps if one remains courteous.

Best wishes.
