My EAD is expiring on 11/6/04. I have filed my EAD renewal on Sep 23rd. I think it is certain that it will not be approved before the current one expires. I believe the local office issues a temporary card only after 90 days of filing.

Can anybody suggest a way out of this. I missed to file 90 days before expiration date.

NO change in message of I-485 after 140 approval.

NO change in message of I-485 after 140 approval.

No I did not contact the USCIS. I got the e-mail notification almost during the same dates that the "processing dates moved to Dec 11"

My FP was done on Jun 14, 2004 and LUD for that was on Jun 22, 2004.

After my I-140 approval, there was no change in LUD or message on my I-485 application.

I mailed the two applications in two different envelopes.
Infact they are 3 months apart.

I-140 RD = Sep 11, 2003, I-140 AD = Sep 22, 2004 (yep ...1 year & 10 days)
I-485 RD = Jan 09, 2004

When I asked the same question a few days back in this forum, the response I got was "even though you applied at different times, since you applied for I-485 before the approval of I-140, it is considered as concurrent"

hope this helps. Can anybody shed more light on applications submitted at different times (whether it is concurrent or non-concurrent).

how long does it takes for INS to update about the RFE ? I got RFE on EAD for new passport photos. i replied back to them on friday(10/08) .
 
140 Cleared finally after one year. Concurrent Filing

Guys,

I received the I140 approval notice mail from USCIS today. My case was a concurrent filing. RD was Sept 30, 2003. Seems like things are moving finally at the NSC. Keep the positive attitude going. And I hope the 485 dates move soon too(Going by FUJI OHATA)

Mine is an EB3. No LUD on the 140 before the approval. No change in the 485 LUD yet. Good luck to all the Sept/Oct filers for a speedy 140 approval
