Any recent LUD on xferred cases ?

Guys how do I get to know about my status talking to a rep. Which 800 number should I call and any sequences that I need to follow?

Please call the 1-800-375-5283... follow the
below steps. Here is the sequence of steps i followed
to get to this:

Press 1 ,2, 2, 6, 1

enter the receipt # to get the automated response
saying blah blah blah and also at the end saying this
is the most upto date information on your case and our
customer the same info national customer service
agents have (i totally agree with this).
Then choose to continue to the next step "press 3" .
choose 3
Listen to the options-
Option 4 "if you feel if you submitted together and
one of the applications is left out and not processed
(don't remmember the exact message text ..but
something about companion case "

Hi,
When i tried using above number it is connecting to USCIS.
I contact couple of times to USCIS. But no use. they are saying what exactly on Web.
If any one know how to contact Texas Service center(Phone number) please proved here .

My wife's getting lot of LUDs after transfer to TSC, I dont know why, since it is in her NIW based 485 which got transferred to TSC, while we belong to retrogressed country so no meaning of LUD's. Visa number priority date is 8 Jan 2003. Maybe my several requests for interfiling workeed for her and since she has unique name, so her name check got cleared (maybe ???) and maybe interfiling worked for her not for me ???

I did my fingerprint on 04/02/07 and had the following luds
1-1485 rd 02/15/07
04/02/07, 04/03/07,04/04/07

1-140 rd 02/15/07

pp upgrade 03/28/07

lud 04/04/07

Does it indicate positive sign on my 1-140 and 1-1485?

It is too early to say anything on your case. After FP there is a pattern of LUDs, probably anywhere 1-4. You should see online message/emails correspond to these LUDs.
But it is good that you have done your FP, otherwise several stilll waiting for..
USCIS knows better.

That's awesome gc_sankar. Congratulations on crossing the name check hurdle. Your approval should be just around the corner. I wonder what avenue that you pursued in terms of writing to people worked for you. Any ideas?
No change in my case status. No LUDs after the 16th. I went for an Infopass appointment this past Friday, and was told that my name check is still pending.
 
verify that with the TSC. My namecheck according to infopass was cleared, however VSC (then) told me that it's not.

Namecheck cleared, but TSC doesn't know it...

Yesterday I got a mail from FBI stating that my namecheck cleared on 3/23 (LUD on 3/24 and 3/27, not sure if they are related) but when I spoke to TSC they are completely unaware of it. I haven't seen any further LUDs. My FP1 were taken during Sep 05 and was expecting FP2 notice based on namecheck clearance but haven't gotten anything yet.

Wonder if the 3/24 and 3/27 had anything to do with namecheck why is the TSC unaware of it ? Someone had stated that the results go to Washington and percolates from there, so hopefully it will get to Texas within this year... don't want to get caught in the next wave of retrogression after having waited 5+ years...

They're probably related. I had mentioned that the name check results get sent from the FBI to the USCIS HQ in DC. I'm guessing that this hasn't been made aware to the TSC yet, and from what I've seen in posts across the threads, this isn't unusual. It does take a little bit between the name check results coming in and for the service centers being made aware of this. I cannot explain this time lag, but my best guess is that the results go through an additional battery of processing internal to the USCIS before they are "released" to the service center. I've also seen cases where name check results had been obtained by the service center and the 485s were approved between 3 to 6 weeks after that. I believe the longest I've seen is 60 days...so hang in there, the light at the end of your tunnel just got a whole lot brighter.

Thanks michvin. I tried calling TSC around noon (EDT), but the system was going to redirect me to the National Customer Service center since apparently no officers were available. I've got a congressional query in, as well as a senatorial inquiry with the feds, so hopefully I'll know sooner than later. Stuck in name check since April 2006 (I feel for folks stuck since 2005 or even earlier). This gets awfully old awfully fast.

can u tell us how ur Name got cleared? i mean to who u wrote or talked and when? what did u do to clear the name? did u attach anything with the letters that u sent to oliticians (FOIPA, I485 , resume...)? please elaborate.

antonioa77 - this has been answered by many in this forum, still I will add mine. I wrote to the First Lady in Jan 2007 requesting her help with FBI name check process. I just wrote a letter with my alien number, EAC number and the relevant dates (PD\RD etc). I did not hear anything till I got a mail from FBI yesterday stating that the Namecheck results were forwarded to USCIS on Mar 23. I wrote to the Senator and Congressmen, but only got replies saying that the background check is in process. Infopass yielded the same result and hence I wrote to the First Lady as a last resort. She is indeed very responsive and helpful as seems to be the experience with a lot of other posters here. Am grateful that she was able to help with bringing a sliver of hope in my long and arduous GC process.

Good luck to you and others pursuing the Namecheck clearance....

3 days back i went to infopass , the imm officer also told my NC cleraed, but he didn't mention the clear date , but with this letter i know when its cleared.

so requesting letter to Mrs.GW Bush is good one ,FBI are looking .thanks to FL.
waiting for i 485 Aprroval date ....????

update on LUD

I got 2 new LUDs updated recently after transfer. I don't know whether it was triggered by
my new EAD application or it has anything to do with my I-485 form. Calling to USCIS
did not clear things out. Just standard bla-bla-bla... Anyways, I am going to send a letter to
Mrs. Bush in a few days. Thanks to this forum and people who helped me with the template.
