any H1 to F1 --Chennai Consulate?

Has anyone been to chennai consulate off late for getting their visa stamped..for change of status from H1 to F1....


i was on h1.. currently enrolled for my MS... and half way through my courses.

But i need to get my visa stamped in chennai...

Did you file any I 140 while you are in H1, if answer is yes, you may face problem to F1

no

i have never filed for any GC process...while i was on H1...

But this is my 3rd masters..;-)...
