Hey! I applied at the end of november 02. It's been appoved but haven't recd. the card yet !

EAD Renewal Application:

Card Received: 01/31/03
The new card is valid from 01/23/03 and the old card expired on 01/22/03. Since the new card was approved before the expiry of my old card, my HR department advised me to continue working. They filled in a I-9 form based on my receipt notice and a print out of the approval notice from the INS website. They will now complete a new I-9 based on the actual card. Hope this information will be helpful to others.

EAD renewal approved yesterday

My EAD renewal just got approved yesterday. I checked up this morning after seeing posts in this thread.

EAD Card question

How long does it usually take for the EAD card to arrive? Can I start working for another employer based on this online approval information, since my original EAD card has already expired on Jan 1, 2003? Thanks.

From other posts on this forum, I understand that we can start work once the EAD application is approved(VOM/Online Status). It takes less than a week to recieve the actual card anyway.
Hope at least the EAD applications/ renewals are processed faster.

Any idea how INS will work Some cases of RD 01/03/03 and 12/23/02 are approving while others waiting ..

My wife & mine EAD Renewal was approved on Jan 6th, 2003.
RD for EAD: 11/29/02

I am still waiting for the cards to be mailed.
