Maddi,
My EAD renewal RD 06-JAN-03 still has not approved. I am not able to understand how 17-JAN-03(yours) got approved in less than 3 weeks? Is it renewal or new EAD? Did you apply directly or your attorney applied? Please post. Thanks.

No need to get frustrated, we haven't got our EAD renewal (ND 12/19/02) yet and the current EAD expires today!!

I am worried b'coz, the co that I am working is downsizing. If I inform them about my EAD expiration next week, in all probablity, they 'd pack me off too. Life has become very highly uncertain. But I firmly believe we will get our approvals shortly Divine Will.

Please clarify

I have noticed an EAD approval which is approved today(02/21/03) for RD 01/06 .The message saying " on Feb 21 ,2003 , after approving ur case we mailed u notice ........ ". This means the card printing is CURRENT

Hi Guys,
The Painful wait for EAD card renewal is finally over. Received the card today in mail. The message though remains the same "On February 7, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready".

Card Receved: 2/24/2003

It can be stressful when one is looking for a job.

EAD, AP Renewal:

Today (2/24/2003) I've received the EAD card from INS and AP from the Lawyer.

I had applied both thru' the lawyer.

I think ND was Jan 8 2003. Approval was on Feb 3/4 2003. EAD crad was mailed on 2/22/2003

For both EAC nos are : EAC030755****

My Self and my wife EAD was approved and I recieved the cards today :02/24/03

The online message never changed "Cards approved and mailed ..."

Called IIO twice to know the status (once last week too) I was told EAD renewal was approved on 01/29/03 and the online message would change once the cards were mailed .

I was also told there was aback log in card ordering from 4-6 months and was asked to wait for 2 weeks more and call back in case i did not get any updates

But today I recived the cards to my surprise .
My current EAD expires on 03/23/03

so for guys whose online message is still old one(mentining recipet date be +ve)and u will get ur EAD renewed too

My wife's got her EAD card today.

Hi,

After much ado my wife received her EAD card in the mail today.

RD 12/13/02
AD 02/06/03
Card received 02/25/03.

We had called the INS a number of times the past 2 weeks. Each time we received a different response ranging from 2-3 weeks to over 30 days further for cardprinting. some stuff about printer being backed up, which sounded very unconvincing. I cant imagine how machines can be backed up when even the INS staff is not. d-uh

Anyway she took unpaid leave from work as her old card expired 02/20. Happy to have received it so soon. Keeping fingers crossed for her 485. RD 10/23/01
