Any Dec 2000 & Jan 2001 ND Cases left???????

My case was assigned to an officer more than 1 1/2 months back and nothing happened so far. There is no RFE also. Talked to IIO last week and she told me to check back in 2-3 weeks time. I don\'t know why it takes so much time. I did not apply for an EAD since i thought that it might generate an RFE. My case was pretty straight forward except that it took some time for my I-140 to get cleared They rejected my I-140 in EB-2 first, saying that my H1B does not specify that a masters ddegree is required for the specified job. Many cases were rejected like this and finally a group of lawyers went against INS and won the case. My case also was approved in EB-2 like that. I don\'t think, that will make any difference. Any way i strongly feel that we have to be very lucky to get the approval on time.

My case has been under review with an officer for the last 3 months according to IIO. I have called twice in the last three months. Same answer from IIO.

Can\'t even check the status with IIO...I guess IIO\'s don\'t know anything.
Last time when I called, IIO told me to call in the month of Jan\'2002 if I don\'t get approval by then.
