How Busy is anaheim asylum office and how much time takes to process and schedule the interview. :confused:
 
A lot.
From some people I know, they have been waiting for the interview date for past 6 months.
As in my case, this october, it will be one year.

it seems the most busy office , you guys are you working now ? now its been almost 3 months and currently I lose hopes and decided to wait for the EAD .
 
is it easy to find job here met your qualification and your experience .
how long it takes the process to get you EAD and ssn
 
I have the same situation like sadsoul and asylum 2012
I pending 8 months i've applied since january

Too loong

For me it's been over a year and a couple months. I know someone who just got approved and they applied like three months ago...My life feels stuck, but still doing something to try and advance myself.
 
I heared they increased the number of asylum officers in anaheim office and will speed up the interview notices

I heard the same! And As more people are going for interview these days it may be true! I heard about 50 new officers!

From were did you here that they added new officers??? Is it true? And are sure that more people go to the interviews these days? From were do you get that information? I am also waiting for my interview date in Anaheim office...

There may be all rumors! Who knows! I got this information from my lawyer! You can find some of them in your search on the internet! And sometimes governmental job websites which indicate that they are hiring for asylum offices!

Thanks april2013. By the way, what was the decision after your interview? Are you going to pick up your decision or they are going to mail it out to you?
 
I try to call Anaheim office yesterday,
usually I can talk to the operator by pressing the number "0" after the automated answering system,
but now, they won't allow it,
I guess they must had too many phone calls from people asking for their status update or interview date,
that they decided they would not answer the phone anymore and only answer if you submit by fax or mail...
or came in person...
