An annual income of 40,000 US$ enough to issue affidavit of Support?

I received today from a family friend Form I-134, Affidavit of Support. As I can see that my sponsor is earning in a year about 41000 US$ and he has saving of 18000 US$. He has never sponsored anyone before and his wife and two small sons are dependet on him.
The question is if this affidavit of support will work for me and for my wife?

see this tabel . you sponsor have 2 sons + himeself + his-wife + you + your wife= 6 person !!

41000 US$ after tax or with out tax?
if it is after then he can sponsor you and your wife

if it is with out of tax then
($ 8,025 minus 0 ) x .10 : $ 802.50
($ 32,550 minus 8,025 ) x .15 : $ 3,678.75
($ 41,000 minus 32,550 ) x .25 : $ 2,125

he will pay abut 6,500 then
41000 -6500= ca 34000

then he can sponsor you and your wife see the tabel.

in both of stuation he can sponsore you and your wife

My sponsor sent me affirdative support form. Her annual income is 30100. She has 2 children. One is partially dependent and another is wholly dependent for her. She sponsor me and my spouse. Is it ok for me? And she spell my name wrongly. My name is Ko Ko Paing Soe Kyaw but she spell my name as Ko Ko Pine Soe Kyaw. Is it ok? Pls reply me. KCC sent me my case number is current. But I haven't received my second notification letter yet. Does is alright. Thank You.

1- she will have ca 25000 after tax , she can sponsor you + your wife

2- spelling mistake happens, do not worry. i do not think it will be a probem

in my case i received my second notification letter 1 month before the interview . so wait 1 to 2 weeks you will have it.

when did KCC reschedule your inteerview?
 
Pardon my ignorance but why do you need an affidavit of support? I thought DV winners do not need any financial documents from anyone based in the US. Please correct me if I am wrong.
