We have finished our AOS interview on 7/31/07 and it was approved(IO told us) with FBI name check pending. On 8/1/07, we recieved LUD on I130 and I485 which says I130 and I485 pending at National Benifit Center..

Are they any other people, whose AOS interview is approved with pending name check and still have not received any approval on I130?

Same Situation

I am in the same situation, I was approved ! the day of the Interview 07.17.2007, pending Name check,

I'll continue to wait.

I am in the worst situation. Not only my FBI name check is pending. I got called for second interview which they call 130 interview. God knows what is it.

Why are they taking second interview? Did they say you will have 130 or stoke interview?

I received it on saturday. It says to appear for I-130 interview. DO is chicago.

We answered all her questions and she finally said that we should receive something in the mail. she did not give us any letter to bring or mail supporting docs or anything. then for a month or so when we did not receive anything we made a infopass and this is the info we got. i will call up and see if they have sent anything. i only hope nothing is lost in the mail. when is ur interview by the way?

Our officer was very rude as well. May be we had the same one.

Well... I believe this is a stokes interview and it would make sense that they would call it an I-130 (secondary interview) since they are disbelieving the "relationship" that the I-130 claims.

If your question was meant for me, my interview is on Nov 15th 07.

We are very confused as what happened. On our 130 notice there is no sign of 130 linking to 485 like my A number. Even documents requirement does not ask for advance parole or EAD. Could it be possible that they sent out this by mistake thinking that we did not file 485?

why most of the people on this site get stoke interview {the good always suffer for the bad}my stoke interview is april 2008 it says for i130 ,but the next paper have where i must appear, and it says what to bring for stoke interview.

I think that less than 5% of the people on this site get a stoke interview... most people find this forum after they have been assigned to one

Thanks for your reply. I have few questions. I would appreciate your answers.

1. Did your second interview letter says that it's a stoke interview? (mine says 130 interview)

2. Is that letter a formal one like 485 interview letter (mine is not formal)

3. Did they mention your A Number and specific interviewing officer you got in 1st interview?

the reason i asked is i am going to make an infopass in another week or so to check on the status of my case.are u going to have the same interviewing officer. i hope not.
