Am I ready to apply?

Since I couldn't apply for citizenship through US Parent due to lack of evidence, I've been waiting to file my own N400. I was planning to apply next year after finally finishing college around August - November 2011. Mind you, I didn't go to school or had an official job/employer the past years. Only helped around the house, family, etc and got money for that until figuring out what to do. That's why I wanted to wait until finishing college and have more evidence and stuff. It's been a little bit over 5 years since getting my Green Card so by 2011 it would be 6 years+. (with 4 years of physical presence)

I've been on the IRS since 2008. Just got my license a few months ago, umm, bills are not in my name but family member's name. I've got a savings bank account since Dec 06 but haven't used it a lot really. So I was hoping school records could help me more...

What do you think? I'm not sure if I worded the situation correctly. Thanks in advance for any opinions.

You've been holding off to apply since you didn't have any income or didn't go to school in the past years? Working or schooling is not a requirement for naturalization, however be prepared to show how you supported yourself.

Well not really holding off, my GC had it's 5th birthday only 6 months ago. I'm just afraid the form gets rejected but thanks for telling me that.

No. 4 months was the most extended period, I was finishing high school because when I got the GC I was already halfway through in Mexico. Hence the 4 years of physical presence only.

Apply now and stop wasting time. Once they see your age and that you're a student, they won't bother you about not having a full time job.

Thanks for your encouragement, I was so unsure of how difficult it could be for immigration to grant me us citizenship.
