Dear friends.

i'm one of lucky winners this year but i have a big problem that made me afraid to lose my chance so i'm asking for your patience to hear my problem and answer me

I sent my forms on 5-5-2013 and confirmed deliver by DHL on 10-5-2013 and KCC confirmed deliver too.then i revised my forms and found some mistakes in it

The First mistake in Question Number #3 in DSP-122
He asked me about my mailing address and I typed my email address.

The Second mistake in Question Number #10 and#11 in Ds-230 belongs to my wife, my child and me
That I forgot to mention the name of the person who lives in the permanent address I typed.

The Third mistake in Question Number#34 in DS-230 belongs me about Dates of services.
I sent correction by email to correct the date of services
From this (04-19-2009 to 10-31-2011) to that (04-19-2009 to 10-01-2011).
But, I think I made another mistake that:
The Military Services Certificate indicates only the duration of the obligatory services and if this person was a reserve officer he must continue in the army to finish his reserve duration about 15 months after the date of finishing his obligatory services and he can't be demobilized from the army until he finish this reserve duration and this reserve services don’t be indicated in the Military Services Certificate so I sent the first correction by email with the date (04-19-2009 to 10-01-2011) counting the reserve duration.
But, I think the question needs me to mention the duration of the obligatory services that indicated in the Military services certificate.

The Fourth mistake in Question Number#18 in DS-230 belongs to my wife and me
I typed the date when we married in the church (church ceremony) but the date of the Marriage Certificate was about one week after the church ceremony.

The fifth mistake in Question Number#43b in Ds-230 belongs to my wife, my child and me that
I choose NO
But, I need the Social Security Administration to assign me a SSN and issue a card.

I called KCC about the mistakes and they told me to send the corrected forms (just the paper that contain mistake from the forms)with notes about correction by mail to KCC and send email to KCC. So, I'll mail the corrected forms with the notes about my mistakes and its corrections to replace the ones with mistakes.
I sent four of the fifth mistakes before to KCC by email and the third mistake that I corrected it before by email. I correct it again with another answer (another date) and I explain the reason.

2014af00021XXX

1)Correction in the forms may make me disqualified in the interview?
2)Correction made me a person gave false info.?
3)now after the correction I'm OK ?
4)It's approved to make correction before the interview?
5)the number of mistakes is huge and may cause to disqualify my case due to that?

I'm sorry for this big request but i really need your experience and help
thanks

None of the errors or the corrections will cause an issue. They won't penalise you because you made lots of mistakes and they are used to changes being made. You won't sign the form until your interview so at that point all the information must be correct.

The only thing that would worry me would be the ongoing reserve obligation for your military service - but if I understand correctly I think that obligation will be discharged by the time of your interview - so that should be ok.

Congratulations and relax!

Just fill out a new set of forms for yourself, your wife and your daughter and email those forms back to KCC. You can give a brief explanation in the email as to why you're sending new sets of forms. You shouldn't have any issues or be disqualified on the basis of sending in updated forms. Don't be in a hurry to send in the new forms, go over them thoroughly before emailing them.

Thanks Sm1smom

Just a note about the SSN - even though I had checked off the box to say that yes, I wanted an SSN issued, it got missed. It happens sometimes. We got our Green Cards in the mail, then waited another couple of days for the SSN but it didn't arrive. We went to the local SSN office to ask about it and they confirmed there was nothing in the system for us.

If, after about 3 weeks after your entry, either the Green Card or SSN (or both) doesn't arrive, make enquiries right away, as the system isn't perfect.

Vichel,

It's good to know you got your SSN sorted out.

As a matter of fact, all new LPRs could be proactive regarding their SSN by making a visit to the SSA office within their first week of landing or so regardless of whether they indicated a "YES" response on their forms or not.

If your application is already in the system, they will inform you and most likely tell you your number on the spot (the card itself would still be mailed to your address), and if there's no existing application filed on your behalf, then you get to do it yourself at that time. You don't have to wait for 3 weeks only to find out the card is not forthcoming.

Yes, there's probably no need to wait 3 weeks but we were so busy with other things that the time flew by. When we went to the SSN office, they got the process going right then and there. The numbers were generated overnight and the next day we went back and they gave us letters with our Social Security Numbers that we could use. Our "cards" (they're actually just paper, as opposed to the Green Card) arrived less than a week later.

Strangely, the SSN says on it, to not carry it around with you, but you get asked for it often when you're starting up.

True. We also had exact same experience.
