Could you all please send mail to jgolub@aila.org.

I did send a mail :

To AILA,

You mentioned a lot details but did not mention an iota of the legal I-485 employment GC based Backlog problem.

You also mentioned permanent recidency for the illigal immigrants but did not mention the employment based green card backlogs.

Seems you are not truely true immigration helper.

thanks
Smita Goyle.

What incentive do they have to facilitate the exodus of highly skilled individuals who could improve the economy (and pay taxes) back home?

I think it is best to send floods of email to aila.org with the above mentioned body in addition i added "It looks like US is more interested in tax defaulters than tax payers as EB category filers pay taxes regularly and its proofs are requested by INS by issueing RFE related to w2 and pay slips".

Essentially it all boil downs to votes.
Guys/Gals Employment Based Category are only few in numbers. Who cares about you people anyway( other than Employers looking for cheap workers). Remember as long as Employers can get people on H1 and L1 ( Last I heard a entire neighborhood in Hyderabad moved to US), nobody gives a Damn about employment based GC. Think about it, if you have to go back to your home country, there are thousands of qualified( some better than you) willing to come to US for 6 years.
SO BE HAPPY THAT ATLEAST YOU ARE IN I485 STAGE.
I guess best way to speed the process is to make people serve in Iraq, Afghanistan(fighting Taliban) for 1 year. If they do give them GC, those who refuse are not eligible for GC. Those who want to go back can go as there are thousands waiting to come here and replace them.

It's all lobbying and that needs money...
Here most people are not willing to contribute $100 but want green cards tomorrow.....

There is no point cribbing at AILA...and bombarding mails at AILA...

Here is the basic thumb rule which applies everywhere and especially in US...
"you can win with honey and not with vinegar"...

Rajum,

I 100% agree with you.

Its only Lobby and Lobby....

What happened to Collecting funds...by the core members???

Where they are now?

thanks

Its all talk

All these efforts have been just talk (except of the course the filing of the lawsuit). We seem to be unable to even get people together for a meeting - we have tried that in NJ but it failed. I am not sure how to encourage people to participate.
