after volunteer departure, what are the options of coming back?

it was MINE identity issues my identity was stolen years back but we did not prove that so USCIS is coming up that our marriage was not entered into a good faith because I did not tell my alien wife -- even if I had no idea what happened and that it was stolen.

Hello Tripple citizen

i have a question to ask you, i was given a voluntary departure in 2006 when i could not go to school since i had no funds, and i was in front of the judge and he gave me voluntary departure with out any ban. i never entered the usa after that, and my visa was cancelled and they took my i94 at the airport.

now just recently i have got married arranged by parents and so my wife has applied for i130 for me .

can some one give me some advise if i could receive to come in or do i need to do something.

Once the I-130 is approved, you will be interviewed by your local US embassy/consulate. Start collecting the required documents and arrange for your medical.

which documents i need to collect if you could specify that.. and also will i have any trouble cause of my old voluntary departure at the interview. and do you think i should ask my wife to come back to pakistan so we can give the interview together.

Read this sub-forum. All relevant information with regards to forms and documents is available here. Mention the voluntary departure and when questioned about it, answer truthfully. Your wife may return to Pakistan for your interview but she may not be allowed to be next to you. It all depends on the consulate's policy.

thanks you so much

i was just worried that my old voluntary departure would hurt me and kinda got afraid, since it was my mothers operation and they needed the money i couldn't go to school and i was called and detained before i was granted and left the country but gladly they didn't put any bars and the judge said i could reenter but just i was a little worried.

now i have heard that medical only be done after interview is that true or do i need to do it before the interview
