After visa problem???

Hi,
I have one question.
My wife got visa & when she received her passport at courier office. They gave her one big envelope ,which she supposed to give to immigration.But by mistake she opened that.
I want to know Is it a big problem?
What we should do ?

It has to be resealed by the embassy/consulate again, contact the embassy and ask them how to go about doing it.

It appears as if your wife didn't pay attention to instruction given to her during the interview process for the visa. She should return to the Embassy and tell the consular officers that she made a mistake and hope they can help her. She shouldn't even think about boarding the plane to the US with the envelope open, because she will have problems at POE. Have you ever tried submitting an official transcript with a broken seal? 100% rejection is the likely outcome for official transcript with a broken seal.
