After receiving I797A does the previous Visa...

Hi guys,
I have received a letter from INS which states..
Notice of approval...Class H1B...
it has an I94 attached with it.
the left bottom part of the paper saya Form I797A.

My question is is this the final stage of H1 B visa application? does this mean that I am now on H1 status in the official records?
I am currently in US and have not yet got my H1 stamped. So currently am I on H1? And is my previous visa ( f2) cancled?

----yes, becase you have I-94 attched with H1 approval notice , lower right side, detach it it and staple it in your Passport9 make the copy of I-94 front and back and copy of H1 approval for your future records and keep it in your immigration file)

And is my previous visa ( f2) cancled?
---- you are no more on f2 status and Visa stamp also invalid your employer may have filed f2 to H1 CHANGE of status, if you want to go out and again want to enter US you will have to get H1visa stamped in your passport to be back to US
