Hi All, I have ouple of questions...

My friend had a situation...
What happen's if he files for a dviorce after getting GC?

Could spouse can create a problem in obtaining citizenship?

Any problem from the Indian consulate or what so ever can create problems in this situation if spouse complaints?
or from CIS?

I don't think it's conditional. So could she create problems in obtaining US Citizenship? Or anykind of trouble.

Unless there are domestic violence/abuse issues leading to a police case, there is no reason why a divorce should affect citizenship application in the future.
