Affidavit of Support - I-864 or I-134??? Help Needed from Successful DV Selectees

Alright this thing seems to be getting confusing (for me anyway) but when I was doing a cross-check of the interview process and went into the Affidavit of Support it does not show I-134.

Has this form become invalid and replaced by I-864? If so which one?

I'm not current yet but it helps being prepared early :)
 
affidavit of support that applies to DV winners is the one on I-134 form.
the other one is mostly for family based visas.

those are the forms for those immigrating in any other way but as DV applicants, for the DV selectees the only necessary is I-134.
 
NVC doesn't take care of DV winners so you shouldn't even worry about that. You send your forms to KKC.
Most of the countries don't need affidavit of support. As a DV winner you are self petitioner. Nobody is sponsoring you (like, for example, in spouse visa cases). But if US embassy in your country requires this document, the only one that applies to you is I-134.

my problem is to get the i-134 until 20 days

Yes, NVC (National Visa Centre) no longer accepts form I-134 and only accepts the appropriate option of form I-864, but this has to do with other immigrant visas outside of the DV visa. The reason for the non-acceptance of I-134 as an affidavit of support has to do with legal precedents which have ruled that I-134 are not legally binding and enforceable, hence the introduction of the I-864 form.

According to the U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs Manual Volume 9 Visas, Section 9 FAM 40.41 N4.6-3 (pg 15), Form I-134, though helpful in judging financial ability and in helping to determine a visa applicant will not become a public charge, it is not legally binding on whoever fills it out for the applicant.

Not withstanding the fact that I-130 is not legally enforceable, the CO at his discretion, can still ask a DV applicant to provide an I-130 to meet the public charge requirement. See page 15, section C of the same Manual referenced above.
 
Can someone please clarify this issue

i heard that they start asking this form in interviews,
does it possible to fill it by yourself ? or you have to find a job in the US for that before going to interview?
