My son currently is unemployed but is actively looking for a job. He has a fiancee in vietnam who he is wanting to bring to america. I spoke with someone and she says that I can file an affidavit of support and co sponsor to bring his fiancee over after he marries her in vietnam. I was also suggested to get an immigration attorney to help with this process. Should I get an immigration attorney to help with this ? What is an affidavit of support ?
