Please bear with me for my long posting but to understand the situation better, I would need to explain..Sorry again..
I am just trying to understand my situation better...Currently I have VISA sponsored from my current company XXX based in Kentucky and also GC filed thru the same company at my cost. I am on 7th year visa extension starting August. This company XXX was bought out by another company YYY in Ohio 5 years ago and the division in KY continued working under original name XXX since then. Now that the parent company is consolidating the branches and moving us to central location to Ohio.Whats the effect now on MY VISA, when the current extention comes to end and needs to be extended next year. The change of employer name.. Will it
matter? If not, Will the same apply to the current GC process. I am still in my labour process since Sep 2003 which is not through yet.
Overall, The main concern is that at the end of current VISA
extention next year, does it mean Pack the bags and leave the country or do I have choices?
Next, my company today came up with the following choices for me.....
I am not sure if these would have been the best ones for me or is there something else that could still help the process go faster..There are other over head costs that the company has put forth in the document which is not shown below but I would still like to know if there are any other better ways..

This document suggests a course of action we could follow to assist Ms XYZ in obtaining her green card. This course is being recommended because of the impact of the movement of company XXX to Ohio on Ms. XYZ's green card process. We will need to take two approaches to the process simultaneously.
Current Green Card Process·
Ms. XYZ has submitted a Labor Certification Application to receive her green card. She has until July 11, 2006 to complete the green card process. If she has not received her green card by that date, the current process would abort and XYZ would need to leave the country.
· We recommend Ms. XYZ continue her current process, and will bear the costs of pursuing her green card under her current process. (If Labor Certification were completed sooner under the new process, the green card would be pursued under the new process rather than the current process. Please see below.)
New Green Card Process·
We will complete a new Labor Certification Application for Ms. XYZ based on an IT position with the company YYY in Ohio. The costs associated with processing the labor certification will be borne by YYY·
Should the new Labor Certification Application be approved prior to Ms. XYZ's receiving labor certification approval under her current process, we would abandon the current green card process and focus our efforts on obtaining her green card under the new process.
· If we decide to continue with the new green card process, Ms. XYZ would be responsible for the costs of obtaining her green card after labor certification approval is received. (Ms. XYZ would have borne these costs had XXX company remained in Kentucky and her original green card processing continue.)
