I have been on H-1B for over a year with my employer.
For the petition the LCA appropriate salary was $58K. My employer was offering me $63K. The amount written on the H-1B petition was $63K. I have since gotten a pay increase to $65K.
My company just did a company wide pay cut of 10%, so my salary is now $58.5K.
Do they need to file an amendment since the amount is less than the salaried amount on the petition but still greater than the LCA amount?
If no amendment is filed, will I have a problem tranferring my H-1B to a new employer?
